The S and L in S&L Customs stand for Salt and Light.  Salt and light are designed to bring out flavor and beauty.  While this may be an unusual concept for a custom car business, we believe that to be a substantial part of society, you must bring good things to the world around you; So while our passion and talents clearly lie in the realm of custom cars and sound systems, our mission is to leave the world a better place then it is now.  We offer mentoring programs for up and coming auto enthusiasts, produce as little waste as possible and do whatever we can to reach out to the community to help out where we are able.

Ross E Miller, the owner of and designer for S&L Customs, grew up with pictures of Italian automotive exotica hanging on the walls.  This became an inspiration for studying design and applying it to his passion for fine automobiles and awe-inspiring sound systems.  That coupled with his study in composite engineering has produced the products that we now offer.
