I wanted to lighten up this car for high-performance reasons, but I wasn't ready to give up resounding bass. So a couple of fiberglass sealed enclosures on the front doors we formed and filled with MB Quart 8" subs. With some 12AWG Monster Cable speaker wire making the connection, the power and sound quality transfer is excellent. Now I will have to redo the kick panels so they look just as good.
What started out as "just installing some used equipment", has turned into a fairly competent install. It won't be long before Jose and his '97 Jimmy come back to S&L Customs to replace the equipment to be on par with the custom work we did.
2010 Ford Fusion Sport AWD
This brand new Ford Fusion has been commissioned by Ford and The Club to be shown at the 2009 SEMA show in Las Vegas. Aaron Vaccar of ACV Motorsports is coordinating the entire build which includes hand-built 3 piece wheels, custom paint and a one-off forced induction kit. S&L Customs was chosen to do the sound system integration and the air suspension setup. We will also be making a gauge cluster for the dash board that will become available for sale when the car is released in November. This is a sneak preview of the audio system and air-ride build-up

Here are some pictures from our booth at the Solon Commons Tuner night car show. We would have gotten more pictures of the other cars, but we were swamped with people. Congratulations to Max who won the Tuner Best of Show with his Efini JDM RX-7.
JDM RX-7 Interior recovered in black suede
This Mazda RX-7 is from Japan and is currently tearing up the streets in Cleveland, Ohio. Just a few tasteful mods are done so far, but S&L Customs is on it now. First up is a refinishing in the interior. We wrapped all of the black plastic panels in a black suede to match the factory suede seats. A Custom Stereo system is in the planning stages, so look for this car again.
